It’s not every day that your workplace is the countryside of Tennessee and a stunning rustic barn! But this is where I found myself when I shot Sarah and Shaun’s Autumn Barn Wedding in Tennessee. It was an amazing experience and one that I’m not going to forget for a long time! Read on for barns, corn hole, sparklers and some epic fairy lights.
I met Sarah and Shaun in Ireland for a engagement shoot on the cliffs in Howth, check out their engagement shoot, we hit it off like a house and fire and one thing led to another and I found myself standing in front of the gorgeous Barn at Chestnut Springs a little over a year later!
For anyone who doesn’t know Autumn is my favourite time of the year so I was so excited to see that it was in full effect in Tennessee. The colours and light were amazing!
How unbelievably cool is the interior and exterior of The Barn at Chestnut springs? The owner Melanie was a total peach and couldn’t have been more help.
Sarah was nailing the Autumnal look with her gorgeous bouquet.
Apparently it was an unseasonably warm day for the time of year but you can bet your bottom dollar that we were having an outdoor ceremony regardless of rain or shine!
Sarah and Shaun seemed hell bent on unconsciously making all my dreams come true. They started off with a first look which was perfect.
After the ceremony we went across the road to a field and one hell of a view! The sun was setting and the light was perfect.
Corn hole! Doesn’t actually involve corn. More throwing bean bags into holes, but looked great craic!
This was such an amazing experience for me. Sarah and Shaun’s families welcomed me with open arms and even though I only spent a day with them I felt so incredibly welcome and comfortable. It was a beautiful day full of love and fun. I’ll definitely remember this wedding for a long time to come!
