Best of 2016 | Wedding Photography

So, while I did a tidbit of this in December, I’ve waited until January to post about my Best of 2016! 2016 was a generally good year for me, professionally speaking. The path of self employment is a long and very hard one, a lot of people ask me why I do it, and the very simple answer is that I love photography, and more specifically wedding photography. In my humble opinion, if you love your job, you better be willing to fight for it.

I was honoured and lucky enough to be present at many weddings last year and meet wonderful people who wanted me (me!) to photography the most important day of their lives. For that, I say a huge and very heartfelt Thank You.

This year I have some really amazing weddings to look forward to, for the first time in my career I’ll be travelling further then ever before for a wedding of one of the loveliest couples I’d had the pleasure of meeting. I can’t wait to set off to America to Tennessee for what sounds like an amazing wedding, definitely one of my biggest highlights this year!

I pulled off my first styled shoot! It nearly killed me but I’m still so proud of it. I’ve also been featured in such prestigious blogs as One Fab Day, Adorn Magazine and La Bride.

So, without further ado, sit back, relax, and take a spin through my 2016 🙂

On a personal level 2016 was pretty damn good for me! I continue to live my happy little life with Himself and our two fur babies. We got to visit Belguim for his birthday and I got to experience my first Grand Prix. I embarked on spine tingling fun with some girlfriends in the super spooky Loftus Hall, which I thoroughly recommend if you like the spooky side of things. Definitely an experience! I saw several of my friends get married and was delighted to be a guest and hang up my camera for a night. I also got the finally do the Ring of Kerry, a wonderful adventure for my birthday which was so much fun. We now have big plans to drive the whole Wild Atlantic Way, preferably in a classic car 🙂

Heres to 2017…lets see whats over this horizon!
