Sophie and Garry connected with me through mutual friends and past wedding couple, Ciaran and Fionnuala. You can check out the photos from their gorgeous Ballymagarvey Wedding by your favorite Ireland wedding photographer here.
I met Sophie and Garry for the first time at their engagement shoot, which was also held at Cliff at Lyons. Go ahead and take a peek at their sweet engagement session here. We used this opportunity as time to explore this gorgeous venue and make plans for their summer wedding.
It was bang in the middle of May during our lovely heat wave (one of the hottest days of the year!) that Sophie and Garry tied the knot surrounded by friends and family.
Cliff at Lyons in Kildare, Ireland is one of my favorite venues. It is absolutely gorgeous and there are almost too many places to take photos. While the rains came in the afternoon (I think with that heat, this chance to cool down was almost welcome???) it cleared up and we were gifted a gorgeous sunset that served as our cherry on the cake!
Both Sophie and Garry were absolutely fantastic. Both so bubbly and relaxed that they threw themselves into photos. A lot of people can be uncomfortable or awkward in front of the camera, these two were naturals. What more could this Ireland wedding photographer ask for?
Adorable couple – check!
Gorgeous venue – check!
Literally the best bridesmaids ever who were on the ball all day long – check and check!
An absolutely stinking gorgeous day from start to finish – check, check, and check!
I loved every moment of my experience with Sophie and Garry at the Cliff at Lyons and want to send a huge thank you to the each of he vendors that worked together to make this happen. Details to follow.
The Supporting Cast
Sophie wore a Sophia Tolli dress from Confetti and Lace. Her hair was styled by Hair by Raina, and her makeup was done by Charlotte Conliffe! Her shoes were from No. 1 Jenny Packham.
Garry and the groomsmen wore suits from Racing Green at Debenhams. Katie’s bridesmaids wore True Bridesmaid dresses also from Confetti and Lace. The cake was designed by Creative Cakes.
Keith Malone was the videographer and to say he did an amazing job is and understatement, check out his video from video of Sophie and Garry’s wedding here. I love working with Keith, he’s a total gentleman and super talented to boot! Its always great when you book a photographer and videographer who have worked together before as they know how each other works on the day and make a great team.
