Elegant Carton House Wedding

Linda and Donal first met in Coppers in Dublin, in fact we did their engagement photos in the Iveagh Gardens and grabbed a quick shot in front of the infamous Coppers sign which you can see here. Who knew after that meeting they would be tying the knot with their nearest and dearest in Carton House and with their little son Fionn as the star of the show. This is what love stories are made of and I was honoured and excited to be able to capture their gorgeous wedding. Carton House was the perfect back drop for their wedding. Carton House is an absolutely stunning venue, with amazing grounds, there was definitely no shortage of places to take photos! Its a huge venue but I was pleasantly surprised by how intimate and personal it felt for the wedding, it felt like you had the whole place to yourself for the day!

I’m so in love with these shoes and that dress! Linda made sure everything was perfect for her big day, and looked effortlessly elegant as she was getting ready in the morning.

I love the getting ready process in the morning! Its a great time to get photos of all the details, like the dress and flowers and shoes. But its also so full of emotion, nerves and excitement are swirling around the place and it’s a brilliant atmosphere.

When Fionn made his entrance he definitely stole the show is his smart suit and bow tie! What a cutie!

Linda looked stunning! She had the dream team of Ailbhe Lynch Make Up and Sian Sharkey Hairstylist on hand to make sure she looked amazing.

For the bridal portraits we took a golf cart to the charming boat house which was gorgeous and grabbed a few photos there, fortunately the light was just perfect!

After the boat house we went on our way to the Shell Cottage, this adorable cottage beside a lake at Carton House. This venue is amazing and has so many spots for photos! We were really spoiled for choice.
